Technical Support Specialist

Position Summary
The Technical Support Specialist will provide first-level information technology-related hardware and software support to all of the internal users for Bethany World Prayer Center.

Duties & Responsibilities
He or She will be responsible for the following:

     
  • Perform first-level IT support-related activities on issues regarding the use of computer hardware, computer software, and wireless communication devices (i.e., iOS, Android, Blackberry)
  •  
  • Perform timely escalation of pending support-related issues with thorough resolution and analysis
  •  
  • Perform other duties as requested and within areas of expertise
  •  
  • High-level of integrity

Mandatory Skills & Knowledge

     
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2003 / 2008
  •  
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS (i.e., XP, Windows 7)
  •  
  • Strong knowledge of wireless network communications (i.e., Cisco, HP, etc.)
  •  
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  •  
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  •  
  • Self-direction and motivation

Qualifications
Minimum bachelor degree in information technology, computer science or similar field
Excellent understanding of the English language

This position is full-time and on-site at our north campus in Baker,
Louisiana.
